ADVANTAGES
- Less regular breakage
- Faster - more ram available
- A quality BitFolk server
- People can run their own stuff as a semi-shell server
- Running on a sane distro (Debian Stable)

DISADVANTAGES
- Harder to use; will take some getting used to
- Fiddly to give same permissions to everyone (silly defaults)
- Overall cost of ownership higher
- Problems will be dealt with by me/tomaw who have limited skills and time respectively

HURDLES
- Migration of accounts won't be simple
- Need to get permission from all cPanel people to switch
- Risk in purchasing Virtualmin for a year; may fail miserably.
